So the word has been out for quite a while and now I'm ready for my 2.1 upgrade for my Motorola Droid.  I'm looking forward to some of the new features and improvement.  Dont' get me wrong, I really love the phone as it sits, however there can always be improvements.

According to Motorola, the update is coming soon. (via Droid-Life.com)

Some features (or missing features) for the 2.1 Update are:

• It's based on Android 2.1.
• Google Goggles is now pre-installed.
• The browser's now multitouch enabled.
• No Flash (well, not yet anyway!)
• The home screen's still got the same look as 2.0.1.
• No active wallpapers.
