Seven Good Places to Find Technology Jobs

Being that I will be doing some part-time developer hiring here in the near future, I figured I would post a few good places to look for technology jobs (in your area or accross the country).

In no-particular order, here they are:

  1. Dice.com
  2. Craigslist.org
  3. Monster.com
  4. CareerBuilder.com
  5. HotJobs.com
  6. Local Newspaper
  7. Friends & Family

I would always recommend checking with friends and family members for any openings they may know of. Many times this is a great opportunity to find an 'in'.

Website Ventures Could Pay For Lunch

I have spent most of the past 4 years just channel surfing the internet, why... well previously I wasn't quite sure. Maybe there are a few classes I should take to overcome my internet addictions. But overall I feel that I have gained so much knowledge, some random, and have often attempted to become a quick online millionaire myself. However, I spend much of my time like a fat kid with ADD and feel like I want to follow all my bright ideas but have yet to honestly finish a project as I intend. Is it because I am bored? Am I lazy? I would probably say neither. Between myself, Brendon and my other friends, I think we all have a drive to create and creatively think about products on a constant basis. I suppose if I were filthy rich, I could afford to draw out my plans and hire others to complete them. Until then, I will keep many irons in the fire.
