Seven Good Places to Find Technology Jobs

Being that I will be doing some part-time developer hiring here in the near future, I figured I would post a few good places to look for technology jobs (in your area or accross the country).

In no-particular order, here they are:

  1. Dice.com
  2. Craigslist.org
  3. Monster.com
  4. CareerBuilder.com
  5. HotJobs.com
  6. Local Newspaper
  7. Friends & Family

I would always recommend checking with friends and family members for any openings they may know of. Many times this is a great opportunity to find an 'in'.

Good post, you could also try Indeed (www.indeed.com), which searches jobs from Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, HotJobs, local newspapers and thousands of additional sites. Agreed that talking with friends and family is always a good idea. Best,

Thank you for the additional site. I suppose I should change the post to 9 Good Places to Find Jobs... I ran across Google Base (http://base.google.com) and it has a nice Job search also.

You ought to post the job here. Never know what you'll get.

Also, the best of them all - word of mouth | knowing people/networking.
